Terms of Use
Last updated: 4 June 2026
These terms govern your use of LegalTOOL.IO (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
1. What the Service is — and isn't
LegalTOOL.IO is a legal-operations technology platform. It provides AI-assisted document analysis and tooling for businesses. It is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice, and using it does not create a lawyer–client relationship. AI output is preliminary information only and becomes advice you can rely on only after review by a lawyer qualified in the relevant jurisdiction.
2. Eligibility & intended use
The Service is intended for business use by founders, SMEs, and in-house and corporate teams. You must have the right to upload and share any document you submit.
3. The hybrid review model
Where you route a matter for review, it is sent to a qualified lawyer in our network. That lawyer's review is provided under their own professional responsibility and applicable rules. We facilitate the connection and tooling; we are not responsible for the independent professional judgment of network lawyers.
4. Acceptable use
- Don't upload content you lack the right to share, or that is unlawful.
- Don't misuse, overload, or attempt to disrupt the Service.
- Don't represent the Service's AI output as formal legal advice.
5. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, LegalTOOL.IO is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service or reliance on AI output that has not been reviewed by a qualified lawyer.
6. Lawyer network
Lawyers joining the network confirm they are qualified and admitted in the jurisdictions they specify. Channel verification and onboarding status are managed by us. Either party may end the arrangement at any time.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
8. Changes & contact
We may update these terms as the Service evolves. Questions? Email hello@legaltool.io.
